TRANSITIONS

Isn't it crazy when we look back a year ago and realize how things have changed? The amount of people that have left your life, entered and stayed.

The memories you won't forget and moments you wish you could have actually lived.

Everything! In just one year!

From waking up at 6 am to catch the bus to waking up at 8:30 am just to join the class link and sleep again,

From seeing cheerful and daily bathed faces in the morning to not seeing sleepy and unbathed faces,

From wearing the same nicely ironed uniform daily to wearing anything (I wonder if a few even wear anything) on Google meet,

From combing oiled hairs daily to not even combing once,

From asking your friend to write an application leave for you and sign it himself to putting up silly excuses of network issue and electricity,

From asking your classmate to tie up his laces to asking someone to switch off the mic,

From "Please show the test for today!" to "Google it bro",

From showing answer in the test to one person sitting behind you and the entire row copying the same answer to finding the answer on same site and the entire batch copying it blindly,

From sharing food in lunch break to sending snaps of your food (which is a sin though! Huh!),

From eating under the benches to munching all the time during classes,

From deciding not to go school tomorrow if your bestfriend isn't coming to planning unsuccessful bunks,

From packing bags 5 minutes before the last bell rang to join the link 5 minutes before the attendance,

YES! We underwent a transition

Though, there are transitions that everyone is highly impatient for;

From wearing anything to not able to decide what shirt will go with your pants,

From calling a friend to wake up and speak for attendance to seeing him running for class,

From sharing food snaps to sharing the last slice of pizza,

From "You left the meeting" to hangouts after class,

From clicking ugly photos of your friend on Google meet to clicking ugly photos together,

From making animated stickers of each other to making reels together,

From cancelling a trip to Manali to cancelling a trip to Maldives(cancelling the trip is permanent man!),

From setting up camera before online exam to setting up the invigilator,

From watching matches together virtually to watching them together on a big screen,

From attending classes to attending fests,

From 3AM good night, unlimited alarms, 8 AM ignored phone calls , missing attendance and coming up with same excuses( bring new ones please, I am bored now) to 3AM good night, 7AM alarms ,8AM ignored bangs on the door, 9AM attendance heart-attack, 9:15 in the classroom with an innocent puppy face and a super emotional tragic excuse for being late, Yet again!

From long hugs on school farewell to first handshakes,

And yes from sharing old memories to making new ones with them.

Something that probably won't ever change is our love for Weekend and hate for Monday.

Life is too small to dwell on sadness, even the smallest things can make you smile like an idiot. So,

Cheer up, you buttercup!

Cheers to all the good time and many more to come!
